The Choice activity allows students to choose or vote on a particular issue.

Turn editing on
Add an activity or resource
Select Choice Activity – the corresponding image is a blue question mark.
Give the choice a name and a description. You add the actual question in the description box for example: How well do you do feel you understand module 2?"
If you only have a few options, you can display the results horizontally but if you have more options it can be better to display them vertically.
Decide if you want students to be able to change their minds after making an initial decision.
If learners are free to choose any option, leave 'Limit' at the default 0. If you want to restrict them to selecting a particular number, enter that number in the 'Limit' box'.

Warning!! If you unintentionally check this box but don't add a number then your students won't be able to select any choices and will get confused!

Availability

You can set a start or end date for the Choice.

Responses

Choose how you want students to see the responses. ‘Publish’ means ‘display to students’.

It might be useful to show a column for unanswered so that you can see which students have not yet responded.
